With the right support, your feelings will become the map leading you out of your numbness, confusion and pain. When treated with care, the very feelings you have spent so much time pushing away can become the path leading you to your new way of living.

1:1 Psychotherapy

Personal 1-1 therapy is a place you can come once a week to investigate patterns of behaviour that are no longer serving you. Through gentle and supported enquiry you will learn to explore parts of your past, helping you to become curious about how your own unique experiences have helped shape your life and may, at times, contribute to your current struggle. You will learn to reconnect to your body and become aware of your feelings in a new way, empowering you to use them as a map and tool for healing. Whatever challenges you are facing, it is possible that you can experience a new way of being in the world with the right support. I’m here to give you that support.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy provides a safe, neutral environment to explore difficulties you may be experiencing in your relationship. You will be invited to listen to each other’s stories with compassion, learning to replace patterns of conflict with new positive interactions. Personalised interventions will be designed to see beyond barriers, increase your closeness and intimacy, deepen your emotional connection and give you the opportunity to repair past hurts. Changing the way you communicate will allow you both to redefine, or define for the first time, your shared goals as a couple. Whatever your situation, relationship(s) or orientation, I’m here for you.

Family Therapy

Family therapy provides a safe space where people can listen and communicate with each other about sometimes painful and distressing experiences. In my family therapy sessions, each individual will learn to explore their deeper feelings in an open and curious way, helping the whole family respond to challenges differently. You will investigate your past family experiences, including previous generations, that may be influencing the present situation. With my support, as well as your own willingness and commitment, you and your family will discover new ways of being in the world that may not have seemed possible before.

TRE

Tension Release Exercise (TRE) is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of tension, based on the fundamental insight that stress and trauma is both psychological and physical. In TRE sessions, I will safely guide you through this set of simple movements that uses muscular tension and encourages a natural shaking mechanism that helps your body and nervous system return to a state of balance. Whether you would like more patience with your family, are a victim of violence or an accident, someone suffering with PTSD, an athlete, or simply a person who wants to become more resilient and just feel better about life, you can benefit from TRE.
